Up to four people sit in the units. The safety brackets lower down slowly to secure the passengers, then the outrigger swings out of the platform. During this movement, the seating beam slowly starts to turn by 360 degrees forward or backward.

The Sky Loop can be used wherever the platform of approximately 1.5 x 5.5m can be attached. Examples include the terrace of a skyscraper, the top end of a tower, on cruise ships or from a rock wall.

The first Sky Loop was installed at the tip of the Blume Event Tower at this year's Oktoberfest, where operators Marvin and Carmen Blume offered their visitors the chance to experience the attraction at an altitude of nearly 20m.

Oktoberfest is the world's largest beer festival and travelling funfair, known as a Volksfest, and is held every year in Munich, Germany.
