It may not seem like an extreme sport but pinball will appear this year at the ESPN X Games in Aspen, Colorado, US, from Thursday to Sunday this week.
The TV sports channel’s extreme games meet will see Stern Pinball make a significant presence.
Stern has partnered with ESPN following a successful collaboration at the Bahamas Bowl – a famous American college football match played in the Bahamas annually – in December. Supported by the local Stern distributor, Game Exchange, the pinball company will have machines at locations throughout the ESPN X Games.
They will be at the Staff Services area, in the Athlete Lounge, at the Platinum Suites hospitality lounge and in the Music Green Rooms where the event’s musicians relax between sessions. Games will also be at the Diamond Club, reserved for high-end music ticket buyers as well.
All of the current Stern range, including Munsters, Beatles and Deadpool will be used as well as earlier games.
