A property regeneration specialist company is planning to transform the Brunswick Centre in Scarborough, UK, into Square One, a new-style leisure and entertainment destination.
The shopping centre has been the subject of talks between the local council and the company, Scarborough Group International, for four years following the closure of the Debenhams store.
Its proposal for Square One will include an Odeon Luxe cinema as an anchor and a mix of modern dining and leisure operations. Construction work will begin later this year and should be completed by the spring of 2027.
