Spanish Show moves dates

As predicted in this column two weeks ago, the big Spanish trade show, FER Interazar, will move to the spring next year.

InterGame understands that the trade associations and show organisers have taken action to shake up the trade show situation in Spain, in face of the severe economic downturn.

FER, usually held in September, will now move to the spring and the dates reported to us are March 30, 31 and April 1, 2011. The Andalucia trade show, which is held in Malaga in April, will now disappear.

FER will, as usual, be held at the big Madrid IFEMA showgrounds on the outskirts of the city close to the airport.
