The World Waterpark Association has awarded Polin Waterparks' director of marketing and communications, Sohret Pakis, with the 2022 Executive Board Award.
Pakis recieved the Executive Board Award on October 5 at the World Waterpark Association Show. This year's show was held at the Cesars Forum Conference Centre in Las Vegas, Nevada, US.
The award was presented by Andrew Chafatelli, chair of the World Waterpark Association board of directors and Chris Landgrave, vice chair of the World Waterpark Association board of directors.
Following her work with Pfizer as a human resources generalist and then assistant human resources manager, Sohret joined Polin Waterparks, eventually managing the human resources, sales and marketing departments, both in-house and abroad, as its director of marketing and communications.
Sohret also recently completed a master's degree in Neuroscience.
