AMI Entertainment Network (formerly Merit Entertainment) has released the spring software update for its Megatouch products.
The update includes a host of new features for both operators and players including simplified network configuration, a new installation option, two new games and plenty of updated content for classic Megatouch titles.
Megatouch has simplified the location connection process for all connected Ion machines with its new Connection Wizard. This utility makes it a "carefree process for operators" to connect their machines and take advantage of the exclusive benefits of MegaNet.
The Connection Wizard walks operators through the connection process step by step, whether a machine connects through wired broadband, dial-up or wireless.
Other features include a free service that allows any broadband-connected Megatouch Ion access to exclusive games, automatic updates and other connectivity features.
According to AMI Entertainment’s vice president of software, Brennan McTernan, all of the features in the software release have been designed to make life easier for operators. "We simplified the process for operators to maximise the earning potential of their Megatouch machines."
