At this year’s IAAPA, SnowMagic has celebrated the announcement of Pigeon Forge Snow, the first indoor snowpark in the US.
Pigeon Forge Snow will feature 15 lanes of tubing, a conveyor-carpet lift, a snowplay area and an observation deck with cafe service. Construction on the 40,000sq.ft facility is on schedule and the park is slated to open on or before January 20, 2018.
SnowMagic president Albert Bronander has found IAAPA to be the ideal platform for discussing the possibilities for making use of real snow in both indoor and outdoor settings.
"If you are going to feature snow in your park, you owe it to yourself to look into using real snow," he said. "Most business owners are happy to find out that real snow is actually more cost effective in many applications; it's not just a better product, it's better for the bottom line."
