LAI Games has made changes to its Snapshot Companion app.
From November 27 it is no longer available at Google Play and iOS App stores. However, Snapshot 2’s online capabilities remain the same, said the company. Players can still enter their email address at the end of the game to receive free digital copies of their photographs by email.
“Our goal for the Snapshot app,” said LAI, “was to make it easy for players to view and share their digital photos, but with constant improvements to native sharing and photo management across modern devices over the last few years, the app itself no longer offers the value that it once did.”
A Snapshot 2 software update will be rolled out within days that removes all mention of the app from the game and removes the ability to log in, but players just have to make sure that their Snapshot 2 is connected to the internet so that it can receive the software update.
