A smoking ban in Turkey was extended to pubs, cafes and restaurants yesterday. It was already in place for shopping malls, affecting FECs and in other closed areas.

There are few amusement machines in cafes, bars and restaurants, but they do have touchscreen games such as the Photo Play terminals, which will be affected.

Hakan Arsan, who operates Photo Play in Turkey through his company Delta, said: "The reduction in income will come either through a reduced number of customers through the smoking ban, or the interruption of their games due to smoking breaks."
