Acres of Fun, located in the Ohio city of Wooster, offers entertainment such as roller skating, laser-tag, go-karting, an arcade and mini-golf.

Owner Natasha Wood, who took over the business in 2019, told the The Daily Record that the pandemic was "a blessing in disguise" in affording Acres of Fun time to undergo a lengthy upgrade.

Growth for the business is said to have been bolstered by a combination of personal savings by Wood and funding from federal, state and local programmes.

Wood added that she hoped the award would help to bring in additional partnerships and opportunities for the flourishing FEC.

F&B refreshments are available through the venue's own restaurant, serving FEC favourites like hot dogs, nachos, ice cream and more.

Acres of Fun is located at 3889 Friendsville Road, Wooster.
