Baldanza (58) is currently the CEO of business advisory firm Diemacher and is the former CEO, president and director of low-cost airline Spirit Airlines.

Bassoul (63) is a former president, CEO and chairman of food service and processing equipment firm Middleby.

The double addition follows on from the addition of Arik Ruchim to the board earlier this month and takes the membership to nine.

Richard Roedel, Six Flags’ chairman of the board, said: “We are pleased to welcome Ben and Selim as new independent directors to the Six Flags board. They are exceptional business leaders with great records of accomplishment, and join Six Flags at an exciting time as we move forward with our strategic work.

“The addition of these directors complements our board of directors with a diversity of skills and experiences that will help our company reinvigorate growth and realize its full potential.”
