Steve Kim of Simuline, Korea, ships equipment from Korea to Europe, the US and other locations worldwide. Speaking at the IAAPA show in Las Vegas, he said the portable four-seater 3D/4D Motion Theatre had been extremely popular in Korea as the footprint was small and it could be sited in arcades, shopping malls and other locations where space was limited.
The motion is strong enough to make the coaster rides very realistic so that people can enjoy the theme park experience at their local malls or arcades. Simuline is working closely with film companies to develop a whole new range of experiences.
The company also showed the Aquarace Extreme futuristic boat racing game, which generated much interest from visitors to the stand. The Aquarace is a two-player interactive attraction, which can link to four units.
