Semnox Solutions has implemented a cashless payment system at the Camaya Coast resort in the Philippines.
In partnership with Contextus Corporation, the company’s system provides guests at the resort with a reloadable debit card that can be used to enter the premises and enjoy a variety of amenities through an automated access control system.
The same card can be used for meals and snacks, as well as to rent bikes and aqua-sports equipment. Thanks to an RFID-based system, the card can also be used as a secure key for lockers.
The cards are reloadable online and on site via self-service terminals.
“Camaya Coast’s vision is to offer a different lifestyle experience for their guests ensuring convenience, security and ease of use,” said Herbert Joei Bactong, president of Contextus. “We needed a solution that will be able to meet the demand from thousands of guests but would be flexible and scalable enough. This was achieved through Semnox because of the strong and comprehensive suite of Parafait products.”
Kiran Karanki, director at Semnox, said this latest installation further demonstrated the company’s “stronghold” in the debit card system industry.
