Debit card systems specialist Semnox Solutions has introduced a fully integrated SMS Gateway module to its Parafait product for its Indian customer base.

The new gateway has been designed in compliance with the guidelines laid down by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. It is able to identify promotional and transactional messages and apply the relevant rules and guidelines that are laid down by TRAI for these specific messages before sending them.

In addition to this, the gateway has been integrated with the customer database that is available in Parafait, which provides the ability to run SMS campaigns to customers based on various criteria.

The gateway has also been programmed to send out various transactional SMS, with the end user able to decide for which transactions these messages need to be sent out.

“As a communications medium, SMS is the most effective way of communicating with customers considering the fact that mobile communication has become the most widely communication medium in the world,” said Mathew Ninan, vice president of Semnox Solutions. “With the addition of this new feature in Parafait, our clients are now equipped with a more reliable and an effective communicating tool that can be used to increase the brand value and promote new products and offerings to their customers.

“We will continue to enhance our products and services based on customer feedback and provide our customers with cutting-edge technology that will help them reduce operating costs and increase revenue.”
