Cashpoint is taking innovation to the next level with the opening of its first staff-less betting shop.

Following the evolution of its self-betting terminals, Cashpoint is now able to deliver the technical solution of a betting shop without the cost and reliability of daily staff. Customers can relax and take their time in placing any of their chosen bets and there is no need to ask someone for a betting slip, it’s all down to the terminal. The procedure of pay-in and payout is done using Cashpoint´s Member Card and a Cashpoint Cash Station. “This concept is safe and efficient with under age safety control fulfilled with access control only via the unique membercard,” said Cashpoint’s John Farrington. "This takes the usage to the next level as it opens the door to many more concept sites.” According to Cashpoint the profile of sports betting customers is changing and it is becoming more acceptable to place bets via a self-betting shop or terminal over a traditional LBO. “This economical staff-less concept avoids high staff and running costs for the operator and it is a realistic option for a Cashpoint franchisee,” continued Farrington. “It is a perfect addition to an existing store network, satellite and special locations.”
