Having enjoyed a very strong showing at EAG International at the start of this year, Sega Amusements is anticipating next month’s edition of the London show to be equally as successful.

Sega at IAAPA

Fresh from the IAAPA Attractions Expo in the US, where the company unveiled a plethora of new product including its new Transformers Human Alliance and Plants vs. Zombies The Last Stand games, Sega is keen to bring its latest games to the international market.

Speaking to InterGame, general manager Justin Burke predicted that the fifth edition of the London show, taking place at ExCel on January 21-23, would be another highlight on the trade show calendar.

“Last year was exceptionally good,” he said. “We had a good lineup with some big-name titles from both Sega and ICE.”

This time around will be no different, he said, revealing that the range first launched at IAAPA in November will be on show at EAG.

“There is every reason to think that this year should be as strong, if not stronger.”

Aside from Transformers and Plants vs. Zombies, Sega will be presenting its latest driving games Storm Rider and Storm Racer, as well new innovations from ICE.

“The ICE range is just phenomenal this year, with Down Da Clown, Monopoly and Harpoon Lagoon – it’s seriously good kit,” Burke said.

“It’s definitely going to be a strong show, without question.”
