Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling is planning to complete 10 walking marathons in 10 days, starting at Hartlepool United Football Club in the north-east of the UK and arriving at Wembley Stadium in London 10 days later. Each day the walk will start at one football ground and finish at another approximately 26 miles away.

There are only a certain number of people in the official party each day and Darrell will be taking part on the Doncaster to Scunthorpe section of the walk which is day three, March 23.

The idea is to raise as much money as possible but also raise awareness of a problem that will effect one in eight males during their lifetime and also kills one person every hour in the UK at present. “These numbers are far too high and with hard work and donations these numbers can be reduced,” Darrell told InterGame.

“I would like to thank everybody who has already donated and I would be very grateful for any further donations. I haveset up a Just Giving page that donations can be made directly to: http://www.justgiving.com/DARRELL-WEBB
