Following its successful unveiling during November’s IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, US, Sega’s new Sonic Dash Extreme game has gone into production.
The video ticket redemption title was among six games on display at the event featuring the iconic Sonic The Hedgehog brand.
Sonic Dash takes players on a high-speed track filled with dangerous obstacles, challenging them to collect valuable rings. They must then battle Evil Dr Eggman to win a jackpot bonus.
The game boasts a 55ins HD monitor and an over-sized version of a home console directional pad, designed to be immediately familiar to today’s players.
