Scottish soft play centres are now reopening for the first time in a year following moves to ease the social distancing regulations.

The country has entered "level zero" Covid restrictions, which enables the venues to get back into business for the first time since March of 2020. Only last month the Scottish industry complained bitterly to the Scottish Government that they have to remain closed.

Jennifer McNaughton of Pandemonium soft play centre in Erskine, speaking on STV News, said: “I remember that dark day when we shut the doors but just to have this reopening and seeing all the smiley faces is great.”
