A target of $125,000 has been set through an online donations website to help save an iconic Ann Arbor pinball arcade from closure.

Pinball Pete’s in Ann Arbor, Michigan, US, is a well-known local entertainment centre owned by Mike Reynolds that houses a wide range of games. So far $65,000 has been raised towards the target, contributed in just four days, reports Michigan Live.
Reynolds has two locations, at Ann Arbor and at East Lansing, and had planned to keep them both open, although locals fear that the pandemic lockdown will mean that the venues run out of money for rent and utilities.
Nick Reynolds' son told Michigan Live: “We never imagined this kind of response when we started to talk about a fund-raiser. Seeing support flood in from everyone in Michigan and even outside the state is amazing. We were losing sleep over the stress of the situation before, but now we are losing sleep reading everyone’s comments!”
For every donation, the arcade is posting the name of the contributor on social media and donations of $75 get them a Pinball Pete’s tee-shirt and over $125 get a limited edition tie-dye tee-shirt. At $200 the donor receives an “I saved Pinball Pete’s" tee-shirt that was created just for the fund-raiser. Donations over $500 gets a "Name on the Wall" and meet and greet with the owners.
