The SEA show had been set for June 1-3 in Riyadh, the Saudi capital. Now the organisers, DMG Events of Dubai, have postponed it until September 7-9.

In a statement issued yesterday, the company said: “Over the past few months we have been astounded by the positive response we have been receiving from our stakeholders as we all embark on the journey to recovery from Covid. With the recent announcement about Saudi Arabia keeping its borders closed for trade and travel, however, we have decided to postpone it until September.

“The safety and wellbeing of everyone who attends our event will always be our top priority. Postponing it until September ensures that we can deliver a safe experience and provide real value for our customers without unnecessary travel and shipment restrictions.”
