Stranger Things: Catalyst, a new multiplayer immersive VR experience from Sandbox VR, will launch later this year.
The new Stranger Things game will be Sandbox VR’s third game released in partnership with Netflix, following the launch of games based on both Squid Game and Rebel Moon.
Once available, the new experience will allow take players to locations from the show, including Hawkins, and battle creatures from the Upside Down.
Sandbox VR’s CEO and founder, Steven Zhao, said: “I'm excited to announce that we've been working with Netflix on the Stranger Things x Sandbox VR experience, launching later this year. As Stranger Things is one of Netflix's flagship IPs, we're grateful for their trust in us.”
It is expected that the launch of the new immersive Stranger Things experience will coincide with the release of the shows fifth season in November.
