A new full-body VR experience from Sandbox VR is set to open in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US, in April.

The new venue will see groups of up to six people put on VR headsets and motion sensors to transport them into a virtual world.
Players team up and battle in a shared world, taking on up to nine different VR experiences, including the Netflix-licensed Rebel Moon: The Descent and Squid Game Virtuals.
After the session, each guest receives a personalised highlight video which captures the action and excitement of the game.
Sandbox has been backed by celebrtities including Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Will Smith.
The franchise will be operated by LOL Entertainment and its CEO and Founder, Rob Cooper, said: “As someone who grew up in the area, I know how perfectly Sandbox VR fits Philadelphia's vibrant tech and entertainment scene. Transforming this historic Walnut Street space into a cutting-edge virtual reality destination shows our commitment to Philadelphia's growth as a hub for innovative entertainment.
“We're particularly excited to join the thriving Rittenhouse neighbourhood and create new jobs in the community where our company's story began.”
The Philadelphia location will be Sandbox’s 60th and will open on April 18.
