The remarkably rapid succession of new venue openings by Sala Entertainment, the Saudi-based FEC company, continued this week.

Bobs

The company has now opened Bob’s, the first in a new brand of tenpin bowling and Tex-Mex food outlet.

This one is at U-Walk, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a mixed-used high-grade entertainment area in the Saudi capital. The development is another in the series of prestige retail-leisure openings by Arabian Centres.

Sala has an extensive partnership with Arabian Centres in its shopping malls and the latest venture is another key element in the FEC operator’s expansion strategy.

The Tex-Mex restaurant was built on a total area of approximately 2,000sq.m including a bowling centre equipped with eight 60ft bowling lanes from QubicaAMF, the world's leading company in bowling equipment, as well as bumper lanes for beginners training suitable for all ages and skill levels.

The company has adopted the newest and unique bowling concept in its centres in Saudi Arabia with the latest easy automatic scoring and direct score with social media interface posting to the player’s account, which means that the player shares with his friends the game, scores and gets direct encouragement from them. Mohammed Attia, CEO of Sala Entertainment, said: "The opening of Bob’s in Riyadh comes as part of the company's strategic plan to achieve local expansion. Bob’s and its Tex-Mex restaurant, is a major addition to the family entertainment destinations in Saudi Arabia. The centre is fully equipped to provide convenient entertainment for all community segments, including the sports youth segments.”
