There was talk at Prague's World of Entertainment show, which opened yesterday, of another show being added to the industry calendar at the end of the year.

Several exhibitors and visitors spoke to InterGame about the rumours, but many felt that two shows was more than enough for the Czech market, let alone a third. "One show once a year is enough for the Czech market," said Tasilo Tanzer from Cashpoint. The company has recently been granted a licence for the Czech Republic and, as a result, took a larger stand this year.

Synot now hosts its own open day in close proximity to the World of Entertainment exhibition rather than exhibiting there. Michaela Lejsalova from the company told InterGame that she feels there is no point in a third show.

However, keen to quash rumours, World of Entertainment exhibition director Zdenek Kocik spoke exclusively to InterGame. Kocik explained that he approached the organiser of the Forbes show about working together to host one big exhibition together later in the year, but the Forbes show organiser declined.

According to Kocik: "Forbes used to be held not far from here in a smaller location and now it’s held here, but there can’t be two big shows." Kocik was adamant that there will not be three shows, but whether or not the World of Entertaiment will host a second exhibition in November remains to be seen. "Everything will be decided after this show," said Kocik.
