Ritzio Italy is continuing to expand its business in the country with the launch of VLT operations.
Eight Lottomatica machines were initially installed in April on test in La Spezia, with a further 42 across five additional venues in June.
Poline Brat, head of Ritzio’s Italian division, said: “The Italian gaming market is continuing to diversify, providing more services from a single location. We are following this trend by offering a mix of modern slots, VLTs and more traditional gaming services."
Initial tests have shown the VLTs to be popular with players and Ritzio plans to have VLTs installed at all of its gaming halls by the end of the summer.
