Saudi Arabia’s entertainment and amusement market will be worth US$1.4bn by the end of 2030, the ‘Vision’ deadline, according to ResearchandMarkets.com

It cites the General Authority for Entertainment, the GAE, as the main driver of the expansion and in the theme parks sector, divided between family entertainment centres and outdoor amusement parks, the report suggests that growth in this area will result in more Saudis staying at home.
Traditionally, it said, Saudi’s go to Dubai and Bahrain for entertainment and “there is vast demand for theme parks and amusement parks in Saudi Arabia.” There is now strong growth in the provision of these facilities within KSA itself.
Riyadh held the largest share of the concepts now under development but there are significant developments taking place in Jeddah, Dammam and as far away as Tabouk, Taif and Al Raha. ResearchandMarkets.com lists the main players in the business, with Al Hokair Group, Al Othaim, Fakieh Group, Jungle Land and Saudi Aramco.
