Adrenaline Amusements, in partnership with Epic Games and its development studio, ChAIR Entertainment, has announced that Infinity Blade FX, the pay-to-play version of the blockbuster video game Infinity Blade will be released nationwide this month.

Developed by Darkside Entertainment, the 46ins arcade game will debut at this week’s GEEX Consumer Expo in Salt Lake City, US, while simultaneously making its first appearance across Dave & Buster’s nationwide. Infinity Blade FX, both in its single player and two-screen multi-player configuration will be playable across Dave & Buster’s 60 FEC stores by October 28.

Infinity Blade FX will bring arcade players up to speed with today’s most modern video game technology, offering an unmatched, super-sized version of the game. Utilising Adrenaline’s TouchFX platform, arcade gamers in the US will be the first to experience the mysterious realm of the Infinity Blade universe on a 46ins screen with multi-touch capability. The arcade cabinet will make its debut in the arcade video game industry at the IAAPA in Orlando, Florida, in November.

"The original Infinity Blade demonstrated the true potential of triple-A handheld gaming by delivering mind-blowing graphics and awesome gameplay to millions of mobile users. We’re now taking that experience to a whole new level with an exciting new experience crafted specifically for arcade gamers," commented David Lachance, president and leader of innovation at Adrenaline Amusements.

Adrenaline’s marketing leader, Marc-Antoine Pinard, added: "Like Fruit Ninja, TouchFX versions of Infinity Blade FX will also be seen in FEC, arcade and amusements park locations around the world."
