It was “the most successful IAAPA ever” for LAI Games, said the company, fresh back from Orlando, US.

It reported a booth packed on all three days with considerable interest registered for the six new games on display: Outnumbered, Pearl Fishery, Hyperpitch, Amazing Alley, Toy Frenzy and the Monster Munch ticket redemption centre. Also present was the Big Expansion Pack consisting of three new experiences for the Virtual Rabbids game.
There was a live tournament for Outnumbered, the target shooting game, with winners for each stage receiving a trophy, an Outnumbered military hat and dog tags on the final day of the show.
A press conference was held in conjunction with D-Box regarding the companies’ collaboration on the motion simulation of the new Virtual Rabbids experiences and the introduction of Outnumbered. D-Box sales director Nicolas Bohly and LAI Games marketing director Tabor Carlton were joined by LAI’s vice president of production development Shannon Perell for the conference.
There were a record number of orders for the new games, including the pusher-style redemption game Pearl Fishery and the Hyperpitch baseball pitching game.
