The world’s tallest indoor climbing wall and widest skydiving flight chamber at Clymb, Abu Dhabi, UAE, will be open to the public on November 29.

The attraction is the latest Yas Island project by Miral, the Abu Dhabi government-backed developer set up in 2011 to manage the entertainment attractions of Yas Island.

The US$100m project will feature four walls of varying difficulty, including one at 140ft tall and a 32ft wide skydiving experience, which the operator hopes will attract active lifestyle enthusiasts from around the world

“Clymb Abu Dhabi is a thrilling new addition to the existing attractions on Yas Island and we look forward to welcoming guests to this world-class sporting experience,” said Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, chairman of Miral. “As one of the most highly anticipated new attractions in Abu Dhabi, it is set to become the ultimate hub for adventure in the region, offering something completely unique, challenging and unforgettable for all ability levels.”

The venue has been designed to resemble the UAE’s rugged, mountainous landscape and has a geometric exterior resembling a crystal-like structure, which has already become a Yas Island landmark.

Clymb features a range of food and beverage outlets as well as providing a space to host parties and social events. An air-conditioned passageway links the new facility to the nearby Yas Mall and Ferrari World and is in close proximity to Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros World and all the other attractions and experiences on the island.
