No culture has permeated the world quite like that of the US.

It is recognisable everywhere in the form of Coca-Cola, Star Wars and 1950s diners, as well as countless other iconic quirks and brands. However, there are certain things that just seem to be uniquely American, the kind of phenomena that make perfect sense in the US but haven’t necessarily translated quite as well anywhere else.
