A number of significant new contracts have kicked off the 25th anniversary year for QubicaAMF, the major supplier of tenpin bowling equipment.
It is actually the silver anniversary for Qubica, which later (in 1993) merged with AMF to form the new company.
During those years, reports the company, the number of lanes installed across the world rose from 34 to many thousands. By 2002 it was up to 26,800. Director of international relations Roger Creamer told us that the company would shortly be announcing some major new contracts, notably in the Middle East.
