Scholarships for 60 students to study at Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of central Florida, US, are being provided under a new memorandum of understanding to launch job placement programmes, by the Saudi General Entertainment Authority and Qiddiya Investment Company.

Starting this autumn, the programme will be conducted over five years, starting with an English language preparation programme and internship training at Six Flags Entertainment. After graduation the students will join the Qiddiya project.
Qiddiya is a mega-project of leisure and entertainment and covers 334sq.km of land south of Riyadh. Work began last April and the first phase will open in 2022.
