Historical theme park developer Puy du Fou has launched a consultation website about its plans to open a new park in the UK.

The French developer already has parks in Les Epesses, France, and Toledo, Spain, as well as an immersive experience in Shanghai, China, and is now consulting about a new £300m park in Oxfordshire.
Puy du Fou parks feature no traditional theme park rides, instead they immerse guests using shows and exhibits, with sets built using traditional methods.
The company says that the new attraction would focus on British culture and history, with guests walking through a woodland park and landscaped gardens, alongside period villages which will feature live shows.
50,000 overnight stays are expected in the first year of operation, rising to 400,000 by the tenth year. It also estimates that for every one pound spent at the park, £3.20 will be spent in nearby businesses.
