Baohui Electronic Science and Technology, based in Guangzhou, China, and Korean manufacturer Andamiro recently teamed up to introduce well-known Pump It Up dancers from the South Korea 2008 National Championship men's team, Quanzhi Cui, Xianhao Xu and Yuanxiang Yin, to further promote and encourage people to take part in the PIU tournaments.
At each site, Chinese players organised a team to compete against the Korean champions. There were a number of interactive activities arranged and Andamiro provided prizes in the form of limited edition merchandise.
According to Baohui’s marketing manager, the enthusiasm from the players in China was an encouraging sign and could help operators see the benefits of running a Pump It Up dance machine in their locations.
At the time of going to print, in order to continue promoting the game in China the two companies were planning on continuing the tour and players from the South Korean men’s team were due to meet players in Shenzhen, Foshan, Guangzhou, Zhongshan, Zhanjiang and Changsha.
