Britain’s shadow minister for digital, culture, media and sport will address the annual BACTA Convention, which this year is a virtual event on November 26.

The Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is the UK government department that has responsibility for the gaming industry, covering AWP machines, casinos and other gambling.
Other speakers at the virtual convention will be the trade association’s president, James Miller, and CEO John White. There will be a live question and answer session and elections.
The shadow minister, Alex Sobel, has responsibility for the DCMS sector within the Labour Party, the current opposition in the House of Commons. John White commented: “I think that we will be fascinated to hear what he has to say, given the current situation with Covid-19, as well as the upcoming review of the Gambling Act.”
