Mandoria, the Polish amusement park near Łódź, has opened a new roller coaster themed to the 16th century.
Aquila has been manufactured by Vekoma and is a family launch coaster that accelerates to 70km/h in three seconds. The 900m ride features sharp turns, steep drops and thrills for the entire family.
Mandoria is one of the largest indoor amusement parks in Europe and has more than 30 attractions including four roller coasters, carousels, water boats and a mirror maze.
Daniel Zieliński, vice president of Mandoria, said: “The opening of the new zone has been a tremendous success. The enthusiasm of our visitors and their interest in Aquila and other attractions are the best proof that Mandoria continues to move in the right direction, delivering unforgettable experiences and exceptional moments.”
