A two-day pinball competition took place at the Pinball Museum in Marmore, Italy.

The ‘Pinball at Waterfalls/Dino Merluzzi Memorial’ tournament was sponsored by Ifpa, with the support of the Umbria Region, the Municipality of Terni and the Chamber of Commerce of Umbria.

The tournament took place over the weekend, and the main prize was won by Giuseppe Violante, who is ranked the third best pinball player in Italy. Carmelo Vitale from Lazio won the ‘Side tournament’, which took place on Sunday with an even larger number of players.

The tournament, like the museum that hosted it, was dedicated to the memory of the collector of vintage games from Terni, Dino Merluzzi, a man who represented a point of reference for the pinball sector at an international level.

The competition was valid for the World Pinball Player Rankings (Wppr), and this was the second time it was hosted at the Marmore Pinball Museum.
