US dining and amusement chain Dave and Buster’s experienced a “phenomenal year of record results” in 2015, CEO Steve King said.

In the third quarter, total revenues increased 17.9 per cent to $192.8m, while store sales jumped 8.8 per cent. Food and beverage represented 46.6 per cent of total revenues, while amusements and “other” represented 53.4 per cent.

Adjusted EBITDA rose 40.3 per cent to $34.5m and net income stood at $4.6m, compared with a net loss of $4.6m in the third quarter last year.

The company plans to open up to 10 new locations in the year ahead.
