Ingoldmells’ Fantasy Island park in the UK is planning to close on Mondays and Tuesdays once the summer is out of the way, the park confirmed last week.

Local media was told by a spokesman: “While our rides remain open every day during the summer, we have made the decision to restrict our opening outside of this peak period.”
He cited increased wages costs and the rise in the price of energy as the main reasons for the decision, coupled with more cautious consumer spending.
The changes will affect April, May, June and September, with more limited opening in October and March. The park closes December to February.
