Pan Amusements’ 19th consecutive appearance as an exhibitor at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in the US last month was characterised by a feeling of positivity, general manager Paul Adams said.

“We sensed a very positive mood right from the start and, whereas over the last few years the main interest was on our smaller electronic galleries, this year it was right across the board,” he said.

On show at the event, which was held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, were two new galleries from Pan - a Pirate-themed three-player gallery and a four-player fairground-themed product - and Faulty Repair Shop, one of the company’s multi-gun galleries.

There was significant interest from North American visitors to the show. Pan has now reinstated its office in the US headed up by Scott Behm. South America and Russia, meanwhile, are also areas that the company is confident will see increased sales over the next year.

“A real sign of positive intention was that potential customers to our stand were really getting involved with the gallery concept, especially our large galleries where we have the flexibility to modify our standard themes or design a gallery to our customer’s own theme,” said Adams.

The company revealed that Faulty Repair Shop gallery on display at IAAPA was sold to an operator in Germany.
