Pakistan climbing wall named after mountaineer

The first climbing wall to be named after a famous mountaineer in Pakistan is to be opened at Peshaware Sports Complex.

The venue has been named after Muhammad Ali Sadpara, who was declared dead after he had gone missing on the world’s second-highest peak, K2, together with two companions in February.

The Peshawar venue has a 52ft high wall with three categories of difficulty and is to be funded by the government of North-Western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
