Painting with Light, which often works with many family entertainment and theme park operations with its lighting effects, has lit up Leuven, Belgium, in collaboration with annual charity The Warmest Week.

The company was commissioned by radio station Studio Brussels for the display.

The event is symbolised by a flame and occurs near Christmas to raise awareness and support for the lonely and weakest in society. The pandemic restrictions impacted this year’s Warmest Week, but Studio Brussels broadcast from 20 "warm places" around Leuven, playing listeners’ favourite music.

Painting with Light brought in the visual effects with dancing sound waves in blue and gold. It had three installations across the city, throwing the images and effects on to well-recognised buildings.
