The weekend saw over 7,000 people enjoy the hospitality of Paul Gauselmann in an enormous tented village erected alongside Gauselmann Group’s Lübbecke plant in Germany.

Gauselmann

On three successive days completely different audiences were treated to the most spectacular celebration of the company’s 60th anniversary. A huge tented village was erected in an adjoining field with carnival games, catering stalls, live entertainment and a full-scale travelling fairground to entertain guests during the day, followed by a grand dinner in the evening.

The weather did not co-operate, however, and heavy rain marred especially the first day, last Friday, when the occasion was set aside for major customers and senior staff from all over the world. Saturday was given over to entertaining staff members and their families and Sunday was the preserve of the local inhabitants of the two North Rhine Westphalia towns housing the Gauselmann factories, Lübbecke and Espelkamp.

The lavish occasion ended each evening with a spectacular light, sound and pyrotechnics display. Full report in our October issue of InterGame.
