Debit card specialist Intercard has hired Alex Orban, a former business development manager for Namco USA, as its new vertical sales manager.
With 19 years' experience in the amusement and hospitality industry, he has handled new business development and customer service for several multinational companies.
A former college professor of ecology and biology, Orban holds bachelor of science degrees in biology and Spanish from Knox College and a master's of science in biology from Western Illinois University. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian and also speaks French, German and Hungarian.
"Alex Orban has had great success in developing vertical markets in the amusement industry and is a great addition to our growing sales team," said Bill Allen, North America sales manager for Intercard. "As Intercard continues to expand its global offerings, Alex will help us identify additional types of customers for our market-leading cashless technology products and services."
