Australian operator Funlab’s newest “kidadultainment” venue Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq officially opens its doors on November 14 in the newly revamped Toombul Shopping Centre in Brisbane.
The circus-themed FEC is part of the Funlab group that includes brands Holey Moley, B.Lucky & Sons, Sky Zone, Strike bowling, Juke’s karaoke and Red Herring escape rooms.
The Toombul venue will follow the same successful footsteps as others in Funlab’s chain with video games, dodgems, VR, an XD theatre, bowling and a redemption counter that offers a unique mix of nostalgic prizes.
A contemporary F&B offering partners the attractions, with a cocktail bar serving huge, designer drinks and a menu serving a variety of American inspired dishes. The bar is carousel-themed and the booth seating resembles classic theme park rides. Guests are also treated to DJ-spun music. Brisbane is the third Archie Brothers location in Australia; Alexandria, Sydney, opened in December 2017 and Docklands, Melbourne, opened in October 2018. Archie Brothers New Zealand opened in Auckland earlier in September.
