After a successful London launch last year, BACTA has confirmed that the 2019 BACTA SR Exchange will take place on November 13 at the Macdonald Manchester Hotel.
Aimed at customer-facing staff, managers and operators, the one-day event has been designed to promote the sharing of knowledge and best practice where attendees will be able to take part in workshops facilitated by the BACTA compliance team.
Speaking about the free-to attend event, BACTA’s head of social responsibility and compliance, Simon Bradbury, commented: “We’re anticipating that the choice of a northern venue will result in accessibility for an even wider audience and we plan to hold SR Exchange in a variety of different locations in the future. The event is a great opportunity for BACTA members to discuss many aspects of social responsibility.
“It is hoped that those attending will share best practice and learn from others in key know your customer processes, customer interaction, self-exclusion and safer gambling,” he said.
