Holovis’ latest generation of social gaming technology, 360Golf, will make its European trade show debut at EAG Expo in London, UK, later this month.
Held at ExCeL London from January 14-16, 360Golf is a mini-golf game that includes advanced ball tracking and automated stroke-counting technology built directly into the golf balls.
The technology allows centres to replace traditional scorecards with real-time digital tracking, which automatically monitors and displays scores on interactive screens around the course.
The second generation of the product has already debuted at three new courses at British holiday resort Butlin’s. The new courses feature enhanced technology to provide a smoother experience for guests.
Attendees at EAG will be able play a demo course at the Holovis booth, allowing them to experience the new improvements. Holovis is currently working on two of its largest courses to date, which are the first of 11 planned installations across the Middle East region, with openings scheduled for later this year. The courses include new design themes such as 15ft-high ball trajectories that bring scale to the game.
Ben Fry, marketing manager at Holovis, said: “360Golf is truly reinventing the game. Our automated stroke-counting and tracking technologies, combined with exciting course designs and gamification elements, have created a golf system like no other. We’re really excited that this course will be making its European trade show debut at EAG and can’t wait for visitors to get their hands on the technology.”
