There were long lines of showgoers to play the new video game on the company’s stand. The game is the follow-up to the licensed video game Transformers Human Alliance and features recognisable locations around the world. The company worked with toy manufacturer Hasbro on the game, which is also the subject of a major movie series.

Said Paul Williams, Sega’s CEO: “With the new Bumblebee movie debuting this holiday season, we think Amusements Expo International was the ideal time to launch Transformers Shadow Rising so operators can have the game in time for the film release.” The cabinet is based on the truck vehicle of the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime and comes with chrome exhausts, a large front grille and lifelike Optimus Prime head. It has four levels of play on a 55ins monitor, with controllers that will enable the new Hyperenergy Tech feature to tactically destroy multiple enemies at once or defend against attack moves.
