Electrocoin will feature a number of new video games at next month's EAG Expo, including DDRX 2, the latest in the successful sequence of dance stage games from Konami, and two new shooting games from Taito, which will make their debut - Elevator Action, a two-player game featuring lift doors that open and close, and Gaia Attack, a new four-player Martian encounter.

Electrocoin will also represent Injoymotion for the first time - showcasing its Powerboat De-luxe simulator and Top Gunner, which will be shown for the first time in Europe. Rassen’s Vulcan M, shown at last year’s EAG Expo in prototype form, will make its first appearance as a production model - an exciting game experience that is already showing its worth as a centrepiece in a number of high profile arcades.

In the redemption sector, there will be a number of new games including Crossbow Master from Vogos and Blobble, a new screen-based in-house development. The UK Category C sector will see the introduction of Electrocoin’s hi-tec model Take It Or Leave It - Open the Box as well as X Games 2 and X Roulette, which are both rapidly growing in stature in the market place.

Commenting on the EAG Expo, Weir told InterGame: "EAG Expo attracts our core customer and addresses their needs. Last year’s experience was excellent - it has modern facilities and co-operative staff made last year’s show the least stressful show that we have exhibited at in many years. There is always something new to experience at a trade show and there is nothing like seeing a product in the flesh and talking to the people that understand their requirements face to face.

"The EAG Expo provides a focus on the amusement machine industry without distractions. It is also an easy location to get to and with onsite parking offers groups of visitors an economical travel option to the train.

"Moving away from Earls Court has addressed the sector’s needs to re-establish its identity as an industry in its own right. The first year in a new venue can be difficult for many reasons, but last year’s customer response was excellent and this year will be even better. With uncertainty surrounding the future of other venues, the move has established EAG in a new home for many years to come."
